Over-Extrusion

3. 압출 과다.png

Most slicing SW can calculate how much plastic is extruded according to the rate of rotation of drive gear, the diameter of nozzle and filament. Unfortunately, most 3D printers have no way of monitoring how much plastic is actually extruded. If your extrusion settings are not configured properly, the printer may extrude more plastic. To solve this problems, slicing SW setting should be changed after checking the printing results.

1. Changing setting

In case of over extrusion, please change setting of flow option or infill density. Normally infill density rate is under 60%

2. Lamination defect due to shrinkage

If the output continues to be deformed in the shape due to shrinkage, it looks over extrusion because shrunk output is piled up continuously at the place of filament extrusion
